Jeffrey L. Schlachter, D.O., A.C.O.I.

Dr. Schlachter is a native of New York and a graduate of Brooklyn College. He earned his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He then completed a residency in Internal Medicine in Columbus, Ohio followed by a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Barnes Hospital, Washington University School of Medicine, in St. Louis. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Schlachter is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He has been in private practice in the Kansas City area since 1989. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, Metropolitan Medical Society and the American College of Osteopathic Internists. Dr. Schlachter's hobbies include fishing and collecting antique watches and classic automobiles. He enjoys spending time with his wife of 35 years. He has a daughter Julie who works in advertising and journalism. His son Andrew will be following in his father's footsteps.
