Gastroenterology is the study of the digestive system (esophagus, stomach, large intestine/colon, liver, pancreas and gallbladder). A Gastroenterologist is a medical specialist who is broadly trained in internal medicine and then has taken special training in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases involving the digestive system. All of the physicians at Summit Gastroenterology are Board Certified both in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality gastroenterology service to our patients. To accomplish this goal we feel we have physicians, nurses and staff of unsurpassed ability able to deliver an excellence of care in a comfortable, safe, and confidential environment. Our office staff is small but intimate who will offer helpful and compassionate services with patient satisfaction as their first priority.

If another physician referred you to our office, a summary of our findings and recommendations will be sent to him or her at the completion of your evaluation. We will then be happy to continue to see you as needed, based on the requirements of your condition. In addition, problems of a general medical nature should remain under the care of your personal physician.

Our physicians are on staff at Saint Lukes Hospital East in Lee's Summit, MO., and Lee's Summit Hospital.
